My Life
I was born and raised in Malibu and have an intimate knowledge of this beautiful stretch of coastline. I grew up in Malibu Colony. My Grandfather first settled in the Colony in the 1930’s. Needless to say, I developed a love for the beach and ocean lifestyle that has served me well in my career. Since 2002 I have lived in Point Dume and fallen in love with this stretch of paradise.
I became a Malibu real estate agent in 1983 and was fortunate to learn the business from my late mother, Carol Rapf, who was considered the queen of Malibu real estate for several decades. I take great pride in carrying on in her tradition.

Malibu is a tight knit community. I have longstanding relationships in the area, and understand the different nuances that make each area of Malibu unique. I’m well versed in city building codes, local geology and the history of many local homes. All of this is crucial in a tight market—inside information is key when testing the potential sale of a home, or negotiating for a property before it’s on the market. Building a long and distinguished real estate career is not easy, but I love what I do. I consider myself so fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful area. I’m married to my lovely wife Jill and we have two amazing children, Luke and Chloe.
